Jed Dorsheimer, group head of the energy and power technologies sector, joined William Blair in August 2022.Jed previously was the global head of sustainability at Canaccord Genuity. He has received numerous awards for stock-picking by The Wall Street Journal, StarMine, and TipRanks.
Jed also held senior executive roles at Acuity Brands, a Fortune 500 company. He was a contributing editor to the 2013 U.S. energy policy as an advisor to U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz during the Obama administration. Jed received a B.S. in finance from Bentley College.
Jed is the host of William Blair’s podcast Plugged In With Jed Dorsheimer, a new podcast series that sets out to educate the relationship we have to energy by bringing together the most knowledgeable experts around the world who understand the key relationships energy has with everything.
